RANGRS fans around the world who have pre-ordered the new home kit will be receiving their strips from Monday (14th July) followed by general sale in JJB stores and the Ibrox Megastore from Tuesday (15th July).
The home short sleeve jersey, socks and shorts are all available as planned. However, due to logistical problems in the Far East that are out of Rangers’ control, there will be a slight delay on the following items:

Fans who pre-ordered any of the above items online or via the mail order service will be contacted shortly by JJB representatives to discuss new delivery dates and those who ordered in-store will be contacted by the relevant store management.
Umbro has apologised for the inconvenience this causes to Rangers Football Club and its supporters.

Sportsdirect.com have leaked the new home shirt as you can see above. A poster on the follow follow message board noticed the ‘error’ and we now expect Rangers to unveil the official pictures anytime soon as the pre order date has passed.

Rangers released a teaser of the new 2008/09 home shirt due to be released on July 15th. The teaser was simply the main parts on the shirt along with the slogan of ‘The shape of things to come’.
As you can see at the top I’ve photoshoped a mock version based on these objects and other Umbro shirts. Umbro have used the same template on many shirts tweaking it here and there being a tad different from team to team. I think this shirt above will be pretty close to the real thing bar one or two things like where the saltire which be situated etc.
