Rangers captain Barry Ferguson and goalkeeper Allan McGregor have both been dropped after their breach of discipline with Scotland.

David Weir will wear the captain’s armband in Ferguson’s absence, while Neil Alexander will replace McGregor. Kenny Miller is out through injury.

Falkirk have captain Darren Barr suspended and doubts over the fitness of Steve Lovell and Mark Stewart.

But defender Steven Pressley has recovered from a twisted ankle.
